FourFourSeconds ago, a Reddit user named marycet_x said she was shopping for an Apple watch, but didn’t know which one.
She said she’d purchased the Apple Watch Sport in the US and was about to ship it to China, but she couldn’t find it online.
“I’m really excited to be a part of the community and to see what everyone is working on,” she said in an interview.
“It’s been a really fun journey and I’ve learned a lot.”
She said that, because of the launch of the Apple watch in China, it was a little tricky for her to find the watch she was looking for online.
MarycetaX has an Apple-branded watch, and the brand is used in many of the products she’s been buying online.
She says the company had to change its marketing campaign in China because of complaints from Chinese consumers.
The Chinese government, which is trying to regulate online sales, said in April that it had received reports of counterfeit Apple products, including watches, that appeared to be manufactured by foreign firms.
The Chinese government also said it had launched a crackdown on counterfeit goods in March and August.
But marycex said it wasn’t aware of any cases where Chinese customers had complained to Apple about counterfeit products, and that it was not in contact with any Chinese consumers who had complained about the watches.
“There were no complaints at all,” she told FourFourSeventeen.
“I don’t know how this happened, but it’s really frustrating.
It’s really difficult to get your watch in the country.”
In the United States, the Apple Watches were launched in September and are available through retailers including Wal-Mart, Best Buy and Amazon.
