Which games are worth it to buy in the Black Friday sale?

It’s not just the big-ticket titles that are on sale.

There’s also the bargain bins and savings opportunities, as well as a few gems for the casual gamer, like the latest in arcade games and a selection of classic PC games. 

It’s been a busy week in gaming, with some big games selling out in a matter of hours, and others on sale for much longer.

Here’s a look at what to buy at Black Friday, in no particular order. 

The first big day of Black Friday sales is the UK.

It’s going to be a busy weekend in the UK, with a new batch of games and more than 50 million games coming on sale this week. 

What to buy on Black Friday The biggest deals at Black Thursday are usually the big budget releases, but there are some really big discounts available. 

There are three major deals available, and you’ll want to pick the one that works best for you. 

£1,699.99 for Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, available to purchase at 10am BST (4am ET) on Tuesday 2nd November and priced at £2.99/£4.99 on PlayStation 4. 

$749.99 for Battlefield 4, available on November 15th (12pm GMT) and $14.99 (7pm BST) on Xbox One. 

Battleland 2, available on November 22nd (2pm GMT), and Battlezone: Bad Company 2, available on November 29th ($9.99) for PC and $15 (9pm GMT). 

The biggest Black Friday bargains are usually on consoles, but they’re usually on PC too.

A lot of these games are on the higher end, and the PS4 versions of Borderlands 2, Borderlands: Warzone and Battlelog are all £1,299.99, or $2,199.99 respectively. PS4 games Battlefront 2 and Battlefield 4 are also £1.99/$2.49 and £1/$2,99 respectively and the PC version is £1/£2.29 and €1.59 on Steam. 

Other big titles Star Wars Battlefront 2, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, Dragon Age: Inquisition, The Last of Us Remastered and Fallout 4  are all on sale on PC. 

Star Trek Online: Battlefleet Gothic is also on sale, and is £2/$3.99. 

Xbox One games Fable Anniversary and Horizon Zero Dawn are on sale as well.
